Finally, on Christmas Day, the day we left, it finally cleared up, the wind died down, the sun came out, and we had a good day on the beach. From there, we headed into Harlingen with the 40-foot Bounder and stayed at Park Place for another week. I got the flu on New Years Day, and it was one of the two worst cases of my life. I could have died and felt better!
